HP opened a second brand store in Czech Republic
Prague, November 25, 2009 – Hewlett-Packard opened in Prague Holesovice it‘s second brand store in the Czech Republic. You can find the complete portfolio of HP products for households and small businesses there, especially laptops, desktops, monitors and printers. Customers can not only see but also experience a design mininotebook HP Mini by Tord Boontje, a small ultraportable notebooks HP Pavilion dm1 and dm3, best-selling HP notebook for household HP Pavilion DV6 or be the largest of the models – HP Pavilion dv7. Customer attraction is the touch screen HP TouchSmart PC, which will be available on the Czech market in early December in the current 600 version.
“Our customers will see all the products at one place and in the same time our experts will give them advise on which model from our wide range best meets their needs,” said Marketing Manager, Personal Computing Division, HP Czech Republic and Slovakia Petr Tresl (photo). The shop is part of the computer demonstration center Alza.cz at Jatecni Street 33, Prague 7 and is open daily from 8 to 20. HP’s advisers and promoters are available to customers in selected times.
“I believe that this step will satisfy customers who want a direct contact with the offered products. Anyone can now have a first hand experience with the complete portfolio of the products in the HP store and choose the one that suits him most. Immediately after opening the HP store we’ve seen increased interest in the products of this brand from the visitors,” comments Jan Samko, Marketing Director of Alza.cz.
For HP it is not an isolated project. HP has over 150 ‘Store in Store’ in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which occupy retail chains in the area of more than 4100 square meters. They are visited by 400 thousands customers every day, of whom take care over 150 experienced sales representatives. They present over 3500 products a day.
In the Czech and Slovak Republic HP plans to open or recently opened five branded points of sale, called the HP Zone, in Prague, Plzen, two in Bratislava and in Kosice. It is a similar project to HP Store in Store, only with a smaller retail area.
