tietoTieto has collaborated with IBM to bring to market a new cross-industry solution model based upon the IBM Rational quality management portfolio. The solution enables customers in all industries to move their IT test environment to the cloud and only lease software licenses and consultancy when needed.

The service was launched in Denmark last year and has now been included in Tieto’s global Test Tool as a Service (TTaaS) portfolio.

Test Tool as a Service enables companies to optimize their IT budgets by providing a flexible pay per usage model that scales to match their test tooling needs. It shortens time to market and makes it possible for companies to buy software licenses, hardware capacity and consultancy as a service when needed. This enables customers to focus on their core business, while utilizing the best of breed testing solution in pay per use -basis.

TTaaS combines Tieto’s expertise in consultancy, capacity services and operation of test environments with leading vendors’ software test tools.
